It can be a great time to start designing things like your client onboarding process, training templates and plans, tracking sheets for clients, nutritional guidance, and exercise tutorial videos.ĭoing this in the early stages is hugely beneficial and can streamline the process when you eventually get to the stage of taking people on as paying clients as opposed to helping someone for free. Once you’ve got a few people that are interested in your help, this is a great time to start building the layers and foundations for your future business. Then, once you’re qualified and good to go the ball is already rolling! It’s also a great time to start working out who it is you can best serve and help. Build those results, relationships, and most importantly your skills in becoming a great personal trainer. This is a great step in building future clients and testimonials before you’re even ‘qualified’. They’ll have followed your journey from the start and will now know you are able to help them with their goals. We recommend doing it for free and helping close friends and family. Getting your Level 2 qualification is like getting your foot in the door. Get your Level 2, then help people for free You’re going to be relatable and you’ve got your own story to tell about how you overcame struggles and challenges in order to have your own success. This is especially true if you’re someone who’s already fit. Documenting your journey is going to be a great way to get early exposure and help reach people with your story. It’s no easy feat having a change in career and it’s an admirable move. Commit to taking time to learn and educate yourself. Schedule in times that work best for you and fit around your current work schedule, even if it’s some reading on the commute to work, or the last hour before you go to bed. Just like your fitness regime and scheduled workouts, make it the same for your learning and education. Add studying into your weekly routine and do not waiver This means you can commit your time to learn around your job rather than having to take time off to learn.
